Cal’maria arises as a movement to promote calmness, the sense of community, wellbeing, literacy and (re)discovery. To allow for ten persons a day to stop, look at themselves and enjoy some caring, serenity and attention… we’re talking about nourishment, drive and trust. We need to be calm!

Fotografia de moda, por acaso, tempo e vontade
Fashion photography, by chance, time and desire.
Costumava ser patologista, agora é fotógrafa de moda. Aos 21 anos tudo começou por acaso: depois das ciências da saúde, estudou por uns tempos publicidade, porque quer ser diretora de arte, aprendeu a tocar bateria, filmou uma curta, andou por uns tempos no teatro e, nos entretantos, trabalhou num call center. Agora, aos 25, tudo se reflete em imagens.
Carla used to be a pathologist. Now, she’s a fashion photographer. At the age of 21, all started by chance. After medical sciences, she studied publicity for a while, because she wants to be an art director. She learned to play the drums, filmed a short film, was involved in theatre for sometime and, in the meantime, worked in a call center. Now, at 25, it all shows in her images.

Margarida vive e trabalha entre a cidade e o campo.
Na cidade estudou design têxtil, escultura e museologia. Tem percorrido vários museus na área educativa e dado uma mãozinha na produção de obras de arte (não suas, porque não é artista).
No campo, entre outras coisas, descobriu que os armazéns dos teatros estão cheios de preciosidades e que há uma exposição onde as ovelhas também podem ser visitantes. É sobre isso que vem conversar.
Margarida lives and works between the city and the countryside.
In the city, she studied textile design, sculpture and museology. She has been to several museums in the educational area and has lent a hand here and there in the production of works of art (not hers, as she is not an artist).
In the country side, among other things, she found out that the warehouses of theaters are full of precious stuff and that there is an exhibition where sheep can go and visit too. That’s what she’ll be talking about.
