simplesmente está tranqui. Publicou, recentemente, o seu primeiro romance (A Raiz do Mundo, ed.
Quidnovi). Vai conversar sobre esse processo enquanto bebe uma média fresquinha.
Francisco writes, and reads, and rewrites, and reads, and cuts and deletes and gets upset, and then, there are days where he is just relaxed. Recently his first novel was published (A Raiz do Mundo, ed. Quidnovi). He will talk about this process while drinking a fresh beer.

Marcel Duchamp – ready-made typography
JdR foi aprendiz tipógrafo numa antiga oficina tipográfica em Lisboa. Após esta experiência o seu trabalho tem explorado a utilização da tipografia enquanto meio de expressão visual, relacionando a palavra impressa com o seu som e fonema. Estudou tipografia em Inglaterra na Norwich School of Art & Design e música no Conservatório Nacional. Atualmente é professor auxiliar nas Belas-Artes de Lisboa onde coordena a área de Design de Comunicação e também os doutoramentos.
JdR was a former typographer apprentice in a typography in Lisbon. After this experience, his work has explored the use of typography as a mean of visual expression, linking the printed word with its sound and phoneme. He studied typography in England at Norwich School of Art & Design and music at the National Conservatory. He is currently assistant professor in the Fine Arts of the University in Lisbon where he coordinates the Communication Design Department and also the Phd’s.

André concluiu os estudos de Artes plásticas na escola Maumaus e, paralelamente a esta formação, foi explorando a guitarra de forma auto-didática. Mais tarde, teve aulas de piano e de guitarra elétrica para aprofundar os seus conhecimentos. No AND_LAB conheceu o método de composição em tempo real, que muito o influenciou na relação que tem hoje com o instrumento. Mais recentemente integrou-se como guitarrista no agrupamento de música “Resist!”, um projeto de exploração livre, onde a improvisação é a base de todo o trabalho.
André completed his studies in Fine Arts at the school Maumaus and in parallel to this education, he explored the guitar in self-didactic way. Later, he studied piano and electric guitar to develop his knowledge. In AND_LAB he got to know the method of composition in real time, which greatly influenced the relationship he has today with the instrument. Recently he joined as guitarist in the music group “Resist!”, a project of free exploration, where improvisation is the base of all the work.
