Filipa Cordeiro nasceu em 1988 e continuou a viver até aos dias de hoje. Como toda a gente, a Filipa passa a maior parte do tempo a manejar símbolos e a operar um mundo invisível através de estranhos sons, desenhos e objetos.
Filipa Cordeiro was born in 1988 and has kept on living to this very day. Like everyone else, she spends
most of her day manipulating signs and operating an invisible world through the use of strange sounds, drawings and objects.
Olhando à volta, esquecendo a linguagem, o mundo é um estranho lugar povoado de poesia concreta: sons, desenhos, imagens enigmáticas. Sendo a linguagem a mais forte condição da cultura – mas também o mais fundo dos seus constrangimentos – discutiram-se linguagens por vir, novas possibilidades de espaços e modos de relacionamento entre as pessoas, para lá de (ou entre) as fronteiras do previsto.
Looking around us and forgetting language the world is a strange place populated with concrete poetry: sounds, drawings, enigmatic images. Because language is the strongest condition of culture– but also the deepest constrain – new languages to come, new possibilities of spaces and new forms of relationships between people were discussed within or not the frontiers of the predictable.

A Hélène vem da antropologia mas sempre foi relativamente indisciplinada. Foi então buscar às outras esferas as ideias necessárias à sua sobrevivência académica. De momento, anda bastante preocupada com o Intendente, onde está a preparar uma exposição.
Hélène comes from anthropology but she has always been an undisciplined student. That’s why she tried to find in other areas the necessary ideas for her academic survival. For the moment, she’s working about the Intendente’s area, where she’s preparing an exhibition.
INTENDENTE(s) é o título de um projeto desenvolvido por Hélène Veiga Gomes durante uma residência artística no LARGO Residências.
Em colaboração com vários habitantes, este trabalho foi focando a relação do espaço do Intendente em Lisboa, no momento da sua mutação.
Das imagens e representações recolhidas através do meio fotográfico nasceu uma exposição composta por diferentes propostas artísticas.
INTENDENTE(s) is the title of a project developed by Hélène Veiga Gomes in the context of a residency program at LARGO Residências.
With the collaboration of the locals, this work stressed the relation of the space of Intendente in Lisbon, at the moment of its transformation.
The exhibition composed of several artist proposals is the result of the photographic images and representations.

Jens Paulus é um designer industrial que trabalha em design de barcos e design de produto desde 2004. Antes esteve em Barcelona mas um projeto fê-lo mudar-se para Lisboa em Novembro de 2011. Jens falou do papel do parametric 3D CAD no seu trabalho.
Jens Paulus is an industrial designer working in the field of yacht design and product design since 2004. Being previously based in Barcelona, one project made him move to Lisbon in November 2011. Jens talked about the role of parametric 3D CAD in his work.
O Jens falou sobre o papel do software “parametric 3D CAD” na área do design de iates. Pudemos perceber que é uma ferramenta indispensável tanto no processo de design e de produção. A característica fundamental é a estrutura paramétrica, que permite aos designers e aos engenheiros trabalharem em conjunto no desenvolvimento de produtos complexos de uma forma incomparável, desde o início do design de conceito até ao produto final.
Jens talked about the role of parametric 3D CAD software in the sector of yacht design. We could see that it is an indispensable tool during both the design and manufacturing process. Key feature is the parametric structure, which enables designers and engineers to work together on complex product developments in an incomparable way, from the early concept design until the finalized product.
