… era Frederico, trancado na sala, após o recreio, deixando a professora e os colegas esperando enquanto ele preparava a sala para apresentação de uma peça teatral. Por tarde começar a dançar… a ver “O corpo”…meteu-se a animar…

vieram do ballet, que recheavam o espetáculo. Ilustração.
A animação “Le Ballet del Bizarre” nasce da uma vontade de um ilustrador (uma inquietude, talvez?) que através da bagagem e lembranças que traz consigo, de dar vida a seis esquisitos personagens.
… There he was, Frederico, locked in the room, after the playground break, making his teacher and classmates wait while he was setting the classroom for a play. Because he started dancing late…he started animating…watching “The Body”…
Ballet classes and ballet steps were left behind. A show that was left for repertoire. The music that came from ballet, which filled the show. Illustration.
The animation “Le Ballet del Bizarre” was born from a desire of one illustrator (maybe a concern?) in which life was given to six exquisite characters with the help of his personal background and memories.

Writing about a Round the World Trip
João Aguiar é um jovem alfacinha que entre 2008 e 2009 fez uma viagem que, não planeada inicialmente, acabou por ser uma volta ao mundo. Desde há poucos meses atrás, está a escrever as histórias que viveu nesta viagem, para as deixar na memória e as poder partilhar. Nesta Conversa, gostaria de conversar sobre como tem sido estar a escrever um livro de viagens, e também receber conselhos, dicas, opiniões de como se pode/deve/gosta de escrever, em particular um livro de viagens.
João Aguiar is a young chap from Lisbon that between 2008 and 2009, ended up traveling around the world (it wasn’t initially planned so!). A few months ago, he started writing the stories of the trip in order to register and share them. In this Conversa, he is willing to talk about the experience of writing a book, and also have the opinion/thoughts/ideas on how can we write, particularly a book about traveling.

João Aguiar is a young Alfacinha (indigenous name for those born in the city of Lisbon) that started a trip that ended up being a world trip. A few months ago he started writing the stories he experienced. In this Conversa I would like to explain how it is to write a book and receive advice for the publication.

Formou-se em Design de Equipamento pela Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Desde então tem trabalhado em diversas áreas, mas só há pouco tempo é que realmente encontrou o tipo de projeto que quer desenvolver no futuro. Nesta conversa, vai falar sobre o seu último projeto.
Graduated by the Fine Arts University of Lisbon in Product Design. Since then she has been working in many different fields. But just a while ago she found out on what kind of projects she would like to work in the future. At this Conversa she will present her last project.
Plasticidade de uma pauta preenchida. A representação gráfica de um som. Denominador comum visual para o som. A onda sonora é como um texto, uma mancha gráfica em que o conteúdo pode ser uma infinidade de composições sonoras. A metáfora visual da onda que foi transposta para a parede. Pretende-se que a sua representação seja o ponto de partida para outras intervenções.
The plasticity of a music score. The graphical representation of a sound. Common visual denominator for sound. The sound wave is like a text, a graphical spot in which the content can be an infinity of sound compositions. The visual metaphor of the wave that was transported to the wall. It is as if the representation is the beginning point for other interventions.
