Antónia Pereira nasceu em Trás-os-Montes, em 1957. Licenciou-se em Filologia Românica e é professora do ensino secundário.
Lecionou na Escola Profissional de Artes e Ofícios do Espetáculo do Chapitô.
A par da atividade letiva e pedagógica, desenvolve desde sempre um grande interesse pela educação artística. Fez o curso de Formação de Atores na Comuna Teatro de Pesquisa. Trabalhou com a coreógrafa Madalena Victorino em atelier coreográfico. Recentemente ousou fazer circo aéreo na Tenda do Chapitô.
Desenvolve regularmente atividades de leitura e divulgação de poesia em espaços públicos e na escola. No Botequim disse poesia com Natália Correia, poetas e escritores. Participou na Festa das Línguas realizada pelo CCB .
Antónia Pereira was born in Trás-os-Montes in 1957. Graduated in Romance Philology and now-a-days she is a high school teacher.
She taught in Escola Profissional de Artes e Ofícios do Espetáculo do Chapitô (Arts and Crafts School of Performance called Chapitô).
Besides her teaching activity she was always interested in artistic education. She did an acting workshop in Comuna Teatro de Pesquisa (Comuna Research Theater). She worked with the choreographer Madalena Victorino in Atelier Coreográfico (Choreographed studio). Recently she ventured in air circus in Tenda do Chapitô (Chapitô Tent).
She organizes reading activities and activities related with the dissemination of poetry in schools and public spaces. In Botequim Café she read poetry next to Natália Correia and other poets and writers. She participated in “Festa das Línguas” performed in CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém (Cultural Centre of Belém).

A Madalena nasce em 1964 e iniciou a sua formação nos anos 70 durante o período do Movimento da Educação pela Arte na Fundação Gulbenkian. Com formação em música e teatro, a Madalena foi professora desde 1987 e dedicou-se ao cruzamento de várias expressões artísticas e metodologias criativas na área do ensino da música.
É presidente do Artemanhas, uma associção criada pela própria em 2001 e que desenvolve projetos de educação não formal.
Atualmente é programadora e coordenadora da Fábrica das Artes – projeto educativo para públicos diversos no Centro Cultural de Belém.
Madalena was born in 1964 and begins her training in the 70’s during the period of the Education Movement for the Art, in the Gulbenkian Foundation.
Educated in music and theater, Madalena was teacher since 1987, and devoted herself to the crossing of different artistic expressions and creative methodologies in the music-teaching field.
She is the president of Artemanhas, an association created by herself in 2001, which develops projects of non-conventional education.
She is currently the programmer and coordinator of Fábrica das Artes (The Art Factory), a pedagogical project for a diverse audience in CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém (Belém Cultural Centre).

With the theater always on the track
Ela, tripeira de gema, abandona Filosofia para vir, com o seu piano, para a Escola do Teatro em Lisboa. Entre cenas do verdadeiro palco e do palco do ensino, ela opta pelo ensino. Ela dinamiza grupos de teatro pelas escolas por onde passa e faz formação para animadores, educadores e professores.
Ela gosta muito do que fez e do que faz. Agora, já sem aulas para dar, mas com um Grupo de Teatro a continuar e uma horta para tratar…
Born as a “tripeira”, she abandons philosophy to come, with her piano to the Escola do Teatro de Lisboa (Lisbon’s Theater School). Between scenes of the real stage and the education stage, she chooses education. She stimulated theater groups through all the schools she passed, while doing training for animators, educators and teachers.
She loves what she does and what she did. Now, with no more lessons to give, but with a theater group on going and with a garden to look for…
