Gonçalo Campos orgulha-se de encontrar soluções simples, através do uso apropriado de materiais e métodos de produção, num processo que se inicia de dentro do objeto para fora dele. Isto resulta em objetos reconhecidamente “inteligentes”, geralmente com um certo humor.
Gonçalo Campos prides on finding simple solutions, through the sound use of materials and production methods, in a process that starts from within the object towards the outside. This results in recognizingly “smart” objects, often with a certain humor.
A Conversa de Gonçalo Campos baseou-se na partilha de experiências vividas ao longo do seu percurso como Designer, da sua relação com as empresas com que trabalhou, e nas importantes lições que cada um dos projetos lhe ensinou.
Gonçalo Campos’ Conversa was based on shared experiences lived throughout his path as a Designer, his relationship with the companies he worked with and the important lessons he learned from one of his projects.

Lachlan (pronuncia-se Lo·klen) é um australiano hipnoterapeuta (clínica + hipnose de rua) e bodyboarder a viver em Lisboa.
Lachlan (pronounced: Lo·klen) is an Australian born hypnotist (clinical + street hypnosis) and bodyboarder living in Lisbon.
Para começar, o Lachlan não explicou nada. Em vez disso, pediu ajuda a uma das pessoas na sala para mostrar à audiência o poder da sua própria mente, ensinando-lhe uma forma de relaxar, concentrando-se apenas nos seus próprios pensamentos. Depois desta demontração, decidiu hipnotizar toda a sala (25-30 pessoas) para lhes dar uma ferramenta simples para descobrir o relaxamento e a felicidade nas suas mentes.
To begin, Lachlan didn’t explain anything, Instead, he asked one of the persons attending to assist him to show the audience the power of her own mind, by teaching her a way that she could relax simply by concentrating on her own thoughts. After this demonstration Lachlan decided to hypnotize the whole room (25-30 people) to teach them a simple tool to find relaxation and happiness in their minds.

Manoel Jack é um nome fictício para um “puto” de Lisboa onde nasceu no dia X, a primeira coisa que fez foi rir (segundo a sua mãe) pois este não se lembra. Estudou aqui e ali, doutorado em coisas concretas, pela Universidade de Artigos Muito Definidos (em geral). Sonhava ser taxista para andar às voltas pela cidade… Anyway ele é capaz de falar sobre Lisboa. Trabalha Fotografia de Autor segundo consta.
Manoel Jack is a fictitious name for a Lisbon “kid” where he was born on day X according to his mother the first thing he did was laugh. He Studied here and there he has Ph.D. in Very Specific Items, by the University of Very Well Defined Articles (in general). Dreamed of being a taxi driver so he could go around the city … Anyway he might talk about Lisbon. Reportedly he works on Art Photography.
Nesta conversa, Manoel procurou mostrar a cidade oculta, a cidade que não é acessível à maioria dos transeuntes. As palavras-chave em que se baseou foram: espaço de conforto, cidade e fotografia. Este trabalho consiste em ações e fotografia como registo destas. As imagens são feitas nas suas incursões, entre outros, ao interior dos túneis de circulação do metro ou topos das estruturas de pontes que estão relacionadas com a quebra das regras e os pressupostos ditados pela sociedade.
In this Conversa, Manuel tried to show us the hidden city, the city which is unavailable to most of its passersby. His key words were: comfort zone, city and photography. This work consists of actions and photographs taken to register them. Some of those images are shot during his incursions to, among other places the metro tunnels or the top of bridge structures, related to the breaking of rules and settings dictated by society.
