“A ESTANTE” é uma pequena livraria composta por uma única estante, que pretende ser uma plataforma para a difusão de projetos editoriais independentes, com um especial interesse em economias de produção e distribuição do objeto livro.
“A ESTANTE” is a small bookshop composed by a single bookcase aiming to be a platform for independent editorial projects, with a special interest in the economy of production and distribution of the book.
“A ESTANTE” é uma pequena livraria itinerante composta por uma única estante, que nasce como reflexo da ausência de espaços dedicados à difusão de projetos editoriais independentes em Portugal. A escassez de recursos e uma certa urgência em chegar até ao público definiram a natureza itinerante do projeto.
“A ESTANTE” is a small itinerant bookshop, composed of a single bookshelve, that was born as a reflex of the lack of spaces dedicated to promote independent editorial projects in Portugal. The scarcity of resources and an urgency to get to the public have defined the itinerant nature of this project.

É arquiteta e artista plástica baseada em Lisboa e Londres e a fundadora do coletivo “Atelier urban nomads”. Os seus projetos estão interligados pela forma como investigam e analisam espaços urbanos sub-utilizados através de um processo de apropriação estabelecendo novas ligações socio-culturais.
Luísa is an architect and artist based in Lisbon and London, and a founder of the “Atelier urban nomads” collective. Her projects are interconnected through the way they investigate and analyse sub-utilized urban spaces through a process of appropriation, establishing new socio-cultural connections.
“[a linha]” são quatro percursos que dinamizam formas de chegar do Tejo ao Campo de Sta. Clara. Alfama será povoada com micro intervenções urbanas que criam uma linha visual conduzindo o visitante e residentes locais a descobrir o bairro de forma ativa, intervindo e usufruindo dos espaços existentes. Todo o processo foi desenvolvido com a população e construtores do bairro usando apenas materiais reutilizáveis.
“[a linha]” are four routes that dynamize ways of getting from the Tagus river to Campo de Sta Clara. Alfama will be inhabited with urban micro interventions that create a visual line, conducting both the visitor and the local population to actively discover the neighbourhood, intervening in and enjoying existing spaces. The whole process was developed with the population and builders from the neighbourhood, using only recycled materials.

Green Brick Road
Eles são três, dois humanos e uma carrinha. São sustentáveis, reciclam e vão aprender a ser agricultores biológicos a dar a volta ao mundo por uma estrada de tijolos verdes. “Green Brick Road Project” é uma viagem de “WWOOFing” pelo mundo movida a óleo vegetal usado.
They are three, two humans and a van. They’re sustainable, they recycle and will learn biological agriculture touring the world through a road of green bricks. “The Green Brick Road Project” is a “WWOOFing” tour around the world moved on used vegetable oil.
Vão viajar pelo mundo a trabalhar como voluntários em quintas do programa “WWOOF” e andarão pela estrada numa eco-autocaravana movida a óleo vegetal usado. Com esta viagem e o contacto com comunidades locais em diferentes lugares, querem aprender sobre agricultura biológica, permacultura, preservação de ecossistemas e biodiversidade.
They will travel the world working as volunteers in organic farms of the “WWOOF” programme and they will be on the road on an eco-motor-home fueled by waste vegetable oil. With this journey and the contact with local communities in different places, they wish to learn about organic farming, permaculture, preserving ecosystems and biodiversity.
