Miguel é Lopes, mas também é esperto. São estas coisas que não vão ver porque, durante todos estes anos ele apenas esteve vivo, por sinal não é assim tão criativo e estudou onde toda a gente estuda, mas não dormiu o que toda gente dorme. Dormiu mais. Podemos esperar tudo, porque ele também espera.
Miguel is Lopes, but also smart. This is what you are not going to see, because for all these years, he was only alive, therefore not so creative, because he studied were everybody studies but did not sleep with what everybody sleeps. He slept more. We can expect everything, because he also waits.
Miguel Lopes na terceira pessoa pode ser isto: Como nunca se sentiu no lugar do outro, apenas uma aproximação, o que é Miguel Lopes na terceira pessoa, senão ele mesmo. Tem ele mesmo estudado muito ao de leve a obra de Heidegger e tem tentado procurar a relação da passagemmemória no seu trabalho.
Miguel Lopes, in the third person can be this: Because he has never felt in the place of the other, only by proximity, what Miguel Lopes is in the third person is only himself. He has studied a lot, in a light manner, the work of Heidegger and has tried to search for the relation of the passagememory in his work.

Raw Earth Architecture
Filipa Falcão formou-se em Design de Interiores, mas foi a Arquitetura que mais tarde vem nela despertar maior interesse – ingressa de novo na faculdade. Inicia uma procura por abordagens de pensar e fazer arquitetura sustentáveis, alternativas aos materiais convencionais. Entra assim em contato com a Arquitetura de Terra Crua, com especial interesse na técnica da Taipa, tão típica do sul do país.
Filipa Falcão first graduated in Interior Design but it was architecture that later captivated her interest – she start the program again at the university. She starts a research by approaches of thinking and making sustainable architecture as an alternative to the employed conventional materials. She then encounters the Raw Earth Architecture with a special interest in Taipa (Rammed earth) technique, typical of the south of the country.
A Taipa, o tema que traz, é um método de construção tradicional típica do sul de Portugal e que desde os anos 80 é de novo procurado por alguns arquitetos mais atentos aos problemas que hoje enfrentamos.
Participou nas Conversas para partilhar alguns dos tópicos da sua Tese de Mestrado designada como “Arquitetura de taipa no Alentejo: testemunho e obra de cinco arquitetos”.
Taipa, is the theme discussed and the traditional method of construction typical of the south of Portugal. Since the 80´s it is employed by some architects with some awareness of the problems we face today.She participated in Conversas to share some topics of her master thesis “Arquitetura de taipa no Alentejo: testemunho e obra de cinco arquitetos” (Rammed earth Architecture in Alentejo: Testimony and work of five architects).

Sax player and apprentice in a stone factory
João Morais apresenta-se como uma espécie de trolha licenciado que decidiu experimentar com as mãos o trabalho que lhe foi apresentado em palavras e desenhos. O trabalho duríssimo da pedra contrapõe-se a um trabalho como saxofonista em alguns projetos que vão surgindo e onde vai participando.
João Morais is a Sax player and apprentice in a stone factory. He presents himself as a sort of workman
with a degree that decided to experiment with the hands a work in words and drawings. The hard work with stone juxtaposes with the work of the sax player in some projects that emerge or he participates.
Um percurso, vários caminhos, um trilho que começa a ser cada vez mais frequente.
Uma conversa sobre pedra e música. Pedra, o fascínio por uma atividade antiga, a técnica, o trabalho duro, a indústria – elemento da memória, com patine, história e que tem de se reinventar. Música, linguagem universal, outro vocabulário, pessoas que expressam vontades através de instrumentos com outras a assistir.
A path, several paths, one that starts to be more frequent.
A talk about stone and music. Stone, the fascination with an ancient activity, the technique, the hard work, the industry – element of memory, “with patina”, history that has to reinvent itself. Music, universal language, another vocabulary, people that express their will through the instruments with an audience.
