O Grupo Ready Made é um coletivo de improvisação e pesquisa cénica, que Joana Pupo juntou no final de 2011. Junta artistas de diferentes áreas artísticas, para improvisar e pesquisar através de workshops internos e abertos à comunidade. Procura articular a criação e a improvisação, usando o Método Viewpoints.
Ready Made Group is an improvisation and scenic research ensemble,started by Joana Pupo in the end of 2011. They come from different artistic backgrounds and get together in order to improvise and research, through workshops, either internal or opened to the community. They articulate improvisation based on the Viewpoints Method.

O Grupo Ready Made tem como grande desafio a abertura da sua pesquisa em cena, interdisciplinar, não só com o público, como com outros artistas. A troca é a nossa missão e principal atividade e toma muitas vezes a forma de treino, de workshop, de Jam Session e até de Conversa. Estar em Conversa na Rosa foi, por isso, um momento especial, numa semana em que recebíamos a Kelly Maurer da SITI Company em Lisboa, no contexto de um workshop aberto a outros artistas que vieram ainda do Norte e de Madrid para o evento. Estar na Rosa foi mais um momento de abertura!
The Ready Made Group has, as a challenge, the opening of their interdisciplinary scenic research not only with the public, but also with other artists. Exchange is our mission and main activity and often assumes the form of a practice, workshop, jam session or even a talk. To be at the Conversa at Rosa was, therefore a special moment, in a week when we were receiving Kelly Maurer from SITI Company in Lisbon, in the context of a workshop open to other artists that came from the north of the country and from Madrid for the event. To be at the Rosa was an opening moment.

Patrícia reflete sobre a representação do lugar contemporâneo em diferentes contextos sociais e políticos. As suas investigações artísticas culminam em projetos individuais ou coletivos que conjugam diversos meios tais como o som, a performance, a colagem e a matéria impressa.
Patrícia reflects on the representation of contemporary place in different social and political contexts. Her artistic investigations culminate in individual or collective projects that blend several mediums such as sound, performance, collages and printed matter.

O livro de artista ‘From The Bottom Of The Chin To The Top Of the Head’, publicado em 2011 no contexto do Mestrado de Artes Visuais no Dutch Art Institute/ArtEz, questiona a natureza da representação produzida por sistemas de identificação, tais como a fotografia de passaporte. Para além de uma reflexão sobre as formas estéticas produzidas por estes sistemas, investiga-se simultaneamente possibilidades de ruptura destas ações.
The Artist Book “ From the Bottom Of The Chin To the Top Of The Head”, published in 2011 in the context of the Dutch Art Institute/ArtEz’s Master in Visual Arts, questions the nature of representation produced by systems of identification such as passport photography. Besides a reflection about the aesthetic forms produced by these systems, the possibility of breaking these actions is investigated simultaneously.

Project Education LGBT
Joana Jacinto e Cátia Figueiredo. O Projeto Educação LGBT é um projeto da rede ex aequo – associação de jovens lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, transgéneros e simpatizantes. A Cátia é uma das coordenadoras e a Joana uma das recentes oradoras a associar-se a este projeto-piloto que tenta fazer frente à desinformação e discriminação. Juntas vão falar sobre experiências e expectativas do projeto e salvar o mundo (de preconceitos!)
Joana Jacinto and Cátia Figueiredo. Project Education LGBT is a part of the ex aequo net - association of young lesbian, gay, bissexual, transgenders and supporters. Cátia is one of the coordinators and Joana, a speaker that has recently associated with the pioneering project which tries to face misinformation and discrimination. Together, they will talk about the experiences and expectations of this project and save the world (from prejudice).

Para as Conversas a Joana e a Cátia trouxeram opiniões e experiências para partilhar e discutir sobre este projeto-piloto. Um projecto da rede ex aequo que com a sua equipa de oradores tenta cobrir o mapa nacional. Com sessões em escolas de norte a sul, luta contra a discriminação e preconceito através de informação relativamente a questões de orientação sexual e identidade de género.
For Conversas, Joana and Cátia have brought opinions and experiences to share and discuss on this pioneering project. A project for the ex aequo net which with its team of speakers, tries to cover the national territory. With sessions in schools from north to south of the country, it fights discrimination and prejudice through information relative to questions of sexual orientations and gender identity.
