Nasceu e vive em Lisboa.
Desistiu do ténis de mesa aos 13 anos para continuar a estudar. Estudou inglês. Começou a estudar Filosofia na Faculdade de Letras. Estudou fotografia na Ar.Co, na Spéos, em Paris e no Atelier de Lisboa, onde está a concluir uma pós-graduação. Canta em coros.

He dropped table tennis at 13 to pursue his studies. Studied English. Enrolled Philosophy course at the Faculdade de Letras. Studied photography at Ar.Co, at Spéos in Paris and at the Atelier de Lisboa where he is concluding a postgraduate program. He sings in choirs.

Isto levou à Técnica de Alexander e ao Método de Feldenkrais de integração desenvolvimentos somáticos, à Fotografia, no seu processo como forma de acrescentar pistas visuais a este puzzle de relações e à Educação por tudo o que está acima. Também se falou da corrida como exercício de perceção sensorial.
One of the last questions made was what had been said about time at all.
Well, here’s what: Time as the integration of sensory experience into the perception of self: growth.
This lead to the Alexander Technique and the Feldenkrais Method, both for somatic integration and development, Photography, in its work process as a means of adding visual cues to this puzzle of relation, and education for all of the above. Also, running was brought up, as an exercise of sensory awareness.

Tema central da sua tese de doutoramento, Nuno Cacilhas trouxe o Édipo às Conversas. Primeiramente, falou das questões metodológicas na sua abordagem à tese – a esquizoanálise como modelo -, seguiu-se uma apresentação do texto sofocliano e terminou no confronto das interpretações edipianas – psicanálise freudiana e Deleuze. Como estrutura, abordou Édipo a partir de dois planos: ilusão e verdade.
Nuno Cacilhas presented Édipo at Conversas, as the central theme of his doctoral thesis. First he talked about methodology in the development of his thesis –“esquisoanálise” as the model employed –talked about methodology in the development of his thesis –“esquisoanálise” as the model employed – then he presented the Sophocles text and ended with the confrontation between the interpretations on Édipo – Freud psychoanalysis and Deleuze. As a structure he developed the ideas on Édipo form two perspectives: illusion and truth.

João Dias AKA Gridfonte, trabalha o Desenho como disciplina autónoma, e a sua presença física. Por vezes o desenho cresce tanto que engole os espaços, por outras palavras, integra-se neles. Já ganhou personalidade, mas mais recentemente o desenho esculpe-se com luz.
João Dias AKA Gridfonte, works drawing as an independent subject and also as a physical presence. Sometimes the drawing grows so much that it swallows up the spaces involved, in other words it integrates itself. It has achieved personality but recently drawing molds itself with light.
Pensar desenho, estratégias – Materialização – pensar fora do papel – volume, espaço – instalação – o desenho engole o espaço, o visitante anda dentro do desenho – fotografia – integração de elementos envolventes – performance – criação de linguagens intermédias, desenvolver identidade e personalidade no Desenho – escultura – desenho contido na forma – luz e desenho – é o último projeto.
To think drawing, strategies – Materialization – to think out of the paper – volume, space – installation – the drawing swallows the space. The Viewer walks inside the drawing – photography – integration of the involving elements – performance – creation of intermediate languages, develop identity and personality in the Drawing – sculpture – drawing contained in the form – light and drawing – it’s the last project.
