O Almer Dumont é um designer de produto holandês. Estudou Design e Engenharia em Roterdão e atualmente trabalha, sobretudo, em produção para ateliers e designers de produto holandeses.
Almer Dumont is a Dutch product designer. He studied Product Design and Engineering in Rotterdam and currently works mostly in production for Dutch designers and studios.
A sua Conversa foi sobre um projeto que está a desenvolver com um colega: fazer um candeeiro a partir de 1000 garças origamis em porcelana. No Japão, estes origamis simbolizam a procura de felicidade e boa sorte, procura essa que é tornada permanente através da utilização de porcelana. Este material reforça também a fragilidade e a incrível quantidade de trabalho e dedicação necessárias para a concretização do projeto.
His Conversa was about a project he is working with a colleague: making a chandelier from 1000 porcelain origami cranes. In Japan, paper origami cranes symbolize the search for happiness and good fortune. In his project they are made permanent through the use of porcelain. This material also emphasizes the fragility and incredible amount of work and dedication needed to achieve it.

Mariana Veloso is a graphic designer, with special interests in editorial design and photography. Recently she has been exploring her work in a more serious manner.
A Mariana apresentou três projetos recentes com base fotográfica. O primeiro, finalizado, é um projeto editorial e fotográfico com base num arquivo encontrado. O segundo e terceiro, em processo, são projetos do âmbito da pós-graduação que frequenta em Fotografia, Projeto e Arte Contemporânea, no IPA.
Mariana presented three recent projects based on photography. The first one, already concluded, is a photographic and editorial project based on a found archive. The second and third, still in process, are outcomes of the postgraduate course she is attending, on Photography, Project and Contemporary Art, at IPA.
