Alexandra Klobouk é uma ilustradora e contadora de histórias que vem do Sul da Alemanha. Coloca-se como alguém que está no mundo para aprender mais sobre a sua cultura para depois poder contá-la de volta. A isto chama: ”Cultura e Ilustração de Conteúdo”. Vive, ama e trabalha entre Lisboa e Berlim.
Alexandra Klobouk is an illustrator and storyteller from the South of Germany. She set out into the world to learn more about culture and people and tell the world about it. To this she calls “Culture and Content Illustration“. She lives, loves and works in Lisbon and Berlin.
“Istanbul, mit scharfe Soße?“ (na língua alemã, quer dizer algo como: “Istambul, com molho picante?”) é um livro para aqueles que “também não fazem a mínima ideia”. Através de desenhos e curtos textos em alemão e turco, o livro faz uma introdução muito pessoal à cultura Turca pelos olhos de uma visitante. Este livro foi publicado em 2010 e foi o resultado de 7 meses de Erasmus em Istambul.
A apresentação deste livro serviu também como introdução para o mais recente projeto de Alexandra Kloubouk em Lisboa: um livro sobre a cultura portuguesa.
“Istanbul, mit scharfe Soße?“ (in the German language is something like: Istanbul, with hot sauce?) is “a book for everyone who’s got no clue either“. In drawings and short texts in Turkish and German it makes a very personal introduction to the Turkish culture through the eyes of a guest. It is the outcome of a 7 months Erasmus visit in Istanbul and published in 2010.
This book was presented to introduce Alexandra Klobouk’s recent project in Lisbon: a book on the culture of Portugal.
Mafalda Fernandes
Design
A Mafalda Fernandes licenciou-se em Design de Equipamento na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (FBAUL) e quando lhe perguntam “O que andas a fazer?” ou “Estás a trabalhar na tua área?” fica sempre nervosa e inquieta. Normalmente a resposta é: “Estou a trabalhar em muitos projetos e sim, nenhum deles me dá dinheiro.”. Na verdade Design é só uma das ferramentas que usa no seu dia-a-dia.
Mafalda Fernandes holds a degree in Product Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL). When asked “What are you doing?” or “Are you working in your field?” she becomes nervous and restless. Most of the time, her answer is: “I am working on many projects and yes, none of them gives me any income”. In reality, Design is just one of the tools she uses everyday.
A minha Conversa não teve preparação nenhuma e acabou por ser um pouco desorganizada. Acabei por mostrar os meus projetos um pouco como normalmente me surgem, através de “pontes” e “referências” entre coisas e pessoas. Estava a apresentar o projeto Mancha de um Lugar e quando para mim era óbvio, alguém perguntou: “Mas como é que se faz tijolo de burro?” e no improviso procurei um filme na internet que exemplificasse a técnica. Surgiram muitas perguntas e as pessoas quiseram mesmo perceber os meus projetos.
My Conversa did not have any sort of preparation and eventually became disorganized. I showed my projects as they emerge in me with bridges and references between things and people. When I was showing the project Mancha de um Lugar someone asked, what was obvious to me, “How do you fabricate Burro brick?”. I improvised and found a film in the internet that showed the technique. Many questions were asked and the audience really wanted to understand my projects.
Rui Silveira

Rui Silveira nasceu em Campo Maior em 1983 e vive em Lisboa. É licenciado em Design de Comunicação pela FBAUL e desenvolve trabalhos em vídeo.
Rui Silveira was born in Campo Maior in 1983 and lives in Lisbon. With a BSc in Communication Design by the Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon, he develops vídeo-based projects.
Rui mostrou a sua curta-metragem POLIGRAD, uma visão da Cidade que resulta da síntese feita por um passageiro que atravessa uma série de cidades do Leste Europeu. Este filme foi desenvolvido durante um workshop organizado pela Nisi Masa e levantou questões sobre modos alternativos de produção audiovisual.
Rui screened his short-film POLIGRAD, a vision of the City resulting from the synthesis made in the mind of a voyager by his focused itinerary through several Eastern European cities. This movie was developed during a workshop organized by Nisi Masa and made possible a debate about alternative ways of audio-visual production.
