Nejc Zupan é certamente o maior entusiasta do “swing spring” da Eslovénia. A capacidade, foco, desejo e vontade de criar uma dança entusiástica, fez este projeto crescer rapidamente. Nejc Zupan tem experiências no campo do teatro contemporâneo, música e teatro clássico, permitindo-lhe uma abordagem fresca e divertida para ensinar e desenvolver o “swing” esloveno e português. Dá uma atenção especial à “lindy hop”, balboa e movimento jazz com cargas de musicalidade, que são uma condição “sine qua non” no “swing”.
Nejc Zupan is surely the greatest enthusiast of “swing spring” in Slovenia. The capability, focus, desire and willingness to create an enthusiastic dance scene made this project grow rapidly. Nejc Zupan has experiences in contemporary theater, music and classic theater allowing him a fresh and amusing approach to teaching and developing the Slovenian and Portuguese “swing”. He pays special attention to “lindy hop”, balboa and jazz movement with loads of musicality, which are a “sine qua non” requirement in “swing”.

Vera Marmelo fotografa por querer pertencer. Fotografa músicos e gente que admira ou que quer conquistar. Querer pertencer, promover talento e partilhar pequenos projetos motivam-na a continuar. Outubro é “O” mês. No de 2013 edita um livro. Em 2014 fez o boca-a-boca com a Rita e um novo livro com o Luís.
Vera Marmelo photographs for wanting to belong. She photographs musicians and people she admires or wants to conquer. The will to belong, to promote talents and share these moments are the reason why she keeps on going. October is “The” month. In the one of 2013 she edited a book and in the 2014 one she did “boca-a-boca” with Rita and another book with Luis.
A Vera fotografa músicos e gente que admira e quer conquistar. Durante a sua Conversa contou um bocadinho da sua história, falou sobre fotografar concertos, partilhar fotografias na internet, da sua forma pouco ortodoxa de documentar. Perdeu muito tempo a contar a história da cena musical que acompanha com mais coração do que cabeça e enumerou as suas razões para fotografar os mesmos há tantos anos.
Vera photographs musicians and people that she admires and wants to conquer. During her talk she told us a little bit of her story, talked about her experience in photographing concerts, sharing photos online, of her orthodox way of documenting. She lost a lot of time telling us about her history in the musical field that she carries with the heart more than with the head, and numbered her reasons to photograph the same for so many years.

A Joana é já conhecida na comunidade das Conversas: ela gosta de Cor, do Sol, de Sons e do Silêncio. É cantora, performer e designer e irá fazer o seu doutoramento em Artes Cénicas em São Paulo. Ela tem muitos sonhos e ambições. Se por um lado é o que a faz avançar, por outro está sujeita a percalços pelo caminho — afinal, nada se consegue sem sacrifício. Ela vem às Conversas pedir ajuda para esta nova aventura!
Joana is well known in the Conversas community: she likes Colours, Sun, Sounds and Silence. She is a singer, performer and designer and is heading to São Paulo to do a Phd in Stage Arts. She has many dreams and ambitions. If on one hand this is what makes her proceed, on the other she is always susceptible to ups and downs throughout her way, and in the end nothing is achieved without sacrifices. This time she comes to Conversas in order to ask for help in her new adventure.
A Conversa da Joana foi uma das etapas na divulgação da sua campanha de “crowdfunding”: “Vamos Ajudar a Joana!! Lisboa >> São Paulo (“crowdfunding” caseiro para a portuguesa mais brasileira dos últimos tempos!)”. Nela se abordaram as razões que a levaram a São Paulo e o lançamento do seu primeiro trabalho discográfico com o JOANA REAIS ENSEMBLE — o EP “A Lisboa”, que foi/é a grande recompensa para aqueles que a decidiram ajudar. Quem tem amigos, tem tudo!
The talk of Joana was about the disclosure of her own crowdfunding campaign “Vamos Ajudar a Joana!! Lisboa >> São Paulo (an homemade crowdfunding for the most brasilian portuguese that we know)”
On her talk she mentions the reasons that made her go to São Paulo and the launch of her first album with JOANA REAIS ENSEMBLE — the EP “A Lisboa” that is the reward for those who decided to help. One who has friends has everything!
